I returned the call to a missed call from Florida a woman answered stating this is Ashley Smith.  I asked the name of the Company and she would not provide that information.  I said hum  it's funny you can provide a full name, but can't identify why you are calling my phone.  She states they serve legal documents.  And needed my phone number so she could tell me who & why they are calling.  I informed her no worries I'm 100% positive your not serving me with anything.  she said well it could be a family member.  I said well then you need to call that family member if that's the case.  she then said well you will continue to receive calls.  I dared her......  and is seriously waiting on another call from them.  I will complain to each and every complaint department necessary.

I answered this call and the woman on the other end asked me if there was someone available to recieve important legal documents for a gene ross...
I just laughed at her and said she has the wrong #. She said she would delete it from their records...
I just called the # back and it rang for awhile then a message came on that says "thank you for calling legal document delivery"

totally a scam!!

Called me looking for someone whose name I couldn't place.  Remembered five minutes later that the person the were trying to locate is the son of my mothers second husband to whom she was married for like twelve weeks.  I met the guy once eleven years ago.  Lol.

Missed a call from this number.- No message.
Then they called my husband and told him they had a civil complaint and needed me to call them.
It sounded strange so when I looked the number up I found all of this.
I noticed another post mention an old Verizon bill. I had one probably 15 years ago of a very low balance. Literally nothing else it could be credit related unless it is just a total scam.
DON'T ANSWER THIS CALL.

These people called my daughter's home, my ex wife,  and who knows who else. They threatened to file suit if I did not return their call within an hour. When asked how they got these phone numbers the said they they were listed as contacts. I told them they were never listed as contacts. They alleged that I owed Verizon money for service 12 years ago and they had punched the debt.
