scam artist calling and saying you there are collecting on a cash loand you took out over the internet

scam got a call stating I was being sued by Cash Partners of America for a pay day loan that I didnt pay back not true I have no idea what he is speaking of what do I do about this

So I get a threatening message saying I should have my Atorney call. I called back and he tells me about a so called law suit... I questioned him like hell and it had me thinking back to when I received a call similar to this for my roommate... I actually let him (John Davis) send this email he say for a payment arrangement. This asked for all of my card info, and copy of my photo I'd, yet nothing detailing this so called loan I owe. What made me laugh more was when I called him back it was first quiet then all of a sudden he has a lot of noise in his "office" and I swear it was the same voices saying the same things as before.

got similar call and told him that since he has my info he needs to mail me verification of the debt. he argued he didn't have to....well according to the fair debt collection practices act, 15 USC 1692g Sec 809 they in fact do have to verify any debt they are attempting to collect and by not doing so in a timely manner they would be in violation of the fdcpa and could be held subject to fines of 1000 dollars each time they attempted to collect money from me before validation had been sent and received. funny, they haven't called since

These people have switched to different phone numbers and have now called my job, I am pissed.  If I lose my job, something is going to jail and it isn't going to be me.  Who the hell are these people.  They are calling from -305-260-6689 and before they were calling from 1-866-321-4187, when I told them I was recording the call and was going to call the police, they started calling from t he 305 number.  I am sick of this nonsense.
