I got a call from there jerks.  The number looked fake, so I didn't answer.

Nuisance call -- they hang up without leaving a message.

DAMN SON OF [***] keep calling with spoof numbers. Same DAMN thing lower my credit card rates. What credit cards? I don't even have any.
What can be done about the SOBs. I am sick and tired of them. PERIOD

Did not recognise the area code,and CID said "name unavailable" so did not answer.
Am registered on "Do Not Call" list for what that's worth.

Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 305-000-4565, 3789 etc.,  is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. They may be using a supposedly legal software called http://www.spoofcard.com/. Try filing a complaint about this service to your state and federal govt. authorities such as the FTC.

Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed. Not sure if filing a complaint on this site will have any effect, but you can try: http://www.callercomplaints.com
