Call went to answering system, but did not leave message. Suspect it was a telemarketing call.

Answered call, recording stated that a low interest rate offer on a current credit card was about to expire.  Followed prompts, female answered; I asked what card was referred to.  An attempt was made to get me to identify a card.  When I replied that the recording implied that they already knew the account and asked them to tell me what it was, rep. hung up. Smells like a scam. A search on a reverse lookup site returned "Invalid Number."

Voice prompt to press 1 to lower interest rate.  "Brandy" told me she could lower my interest rate if debt was over $10000.  I asked the company name.....Card services was her reply.  I then asked the cost.  She said it was free because they worked with mastercard, visa and discover.  She then said the credit card companies would be on the phone while a lower interest rate was worked out.  Told her I felt this was a scam and she hung up.  Don't bother taking the call on this one...total scam!!
