After repeated calls from this # offering to lower my credit card rates, I finally answered and pressed 9 to speak with a representative. When I told him we neither have nor use credit cards and please remove our number from the call list, the representative rudely hung up without a word. Don't bother answering them.

I have been receiving unsolicited calls from Card Services for years always identified on my Caller ID as a different city or town somewhere in the country. I have requested them to stop calling numerous times. I have filled my call block with their various numbers, but they are persistant and will not stop called, sometimes three or four times a day. DO NOT ANSWER A CALL FROM A CITY, ODDS ARE IT WILL BE THEM.

Yeah. There are boxes that you can buy that no matter what number you are calling from you can enter any number you wish into that box and that's what will show on the other person's caller ID. Never answer a call if you don't recognise the number. That number called me. Don't answer and Google the number. They'll enter, into the box, a number that would be close to you figuring there's a chance you have family in that town.
