I keep getting calls about updating my Google, Yahoo and Bing local listing. The phone number changes each call. However this last call from 304-719-4859 which I believe is a Google voice number , I was able to talk to a real person. They said they work for Google , Yahoo and Bing. When I asked them what their company name was they told me Local Lighthouse, their website is http://www.locallighthouse.com . As soon as I asked "So are you your own company or do you work for Google" They hung up on me.

This company is cold calling millions of people pretending to work for or with Google to trick you to sign up with their services. This is FRAUD and this company should be taken down from the web.

I knew I let my Google listing lapse, so I went ahead and let it get to a person. I said, "Mam, before we begin I need you to answer a question. Do you work for Google?"

She immeaditely went from nice to pissed, "Why does everyone keep asking that?" she responded.

I said, "Mam, I just need you to answer that question and I can work with you."

She said, "Before I answer, I need to ask you why you're asking."

I said, "I get allot of scam calls, and I just need you to answer this simple question, does Google sign your paycheck?"

Get this, she then accused me of "intimidation" and then went on to say that she did work for Google before giving me a snarky, "Well you have a merry Christmas, and maybe your attitude will improve with the new year." I couldn't make this up.

I said, "Mam, if you work for Google, we can talk, I get allot of scam calls."

She then said, "We all do." then hung up!

Scam artist. They don't work with Google. I am going to go ahead and take my recording of this call and send it to Google. I bet they would LOVE to know that people are impersonating their business.

Just got a call from 304-719-4859 and the caller ID just listed the phone again, where a name would usually show.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Been getting damned calls from UNKNOWN CALLER the past WEEK+. I have computer software, and phone routed through computer, to block crap like that, but you still get one annoying ring.  Since no way to completely block or even trace via police (yeah, real helpful police - worthless idiots), I answered this call when it came in since it was obviously a telemarketer with the number in name field, too.

No one on the line... same as UNKNOWN CALLER when I grabbed it one time...

I got a call from this number but it left no voice message. Calls like this irritate me and I have received several. But unless a number can leave a message of my interest then I will not call them back. But I do hate that with my phone plan I am getting charged phone minutes for calls I do not answer from an incoming call who can not even be polite to leave a message. Shame on those behind this number.
