said my bank card had been deactivated, this was texted to my childrens phone.

It's obviously a scam. Do not call the number, and report it to the bank using their phone # (check the bank's website). They will take it from there.

My whole family has received the text. Called the main bank, it is a scam. Don't give out your information!!!! They have already changed their phone number.
