I wish someone would tell me already. They called me twice and didn't leave a message

They are a cash advance but i cant. Tell if its a scam or not but i told them to take me off their calling list and since they harrass me for an hour straight calling back to back.

Total scam.  There is no cash advance.  They want an upfront fee wired to them by untraceable means.  Then they disappear.  Invest in a call blocker.  Never wire money to anyone you do not personally know.  Common scam, originates in India and Pakistan.

They asked for me by my first name then proceeded to say something like "We're with your magazine publisher and we'd like to thank you for your prompt payment. We're going to send you as a thank you..." whatever they said they were sending, don't remember, I just said "You are not sending me anything!" and they hung up immediately.
Odd things of course, are just saying "your magazine publisher" not a specific publisher's name, and how absolutely quick they hung up when met with resistance.

I get calls from this number periodically. They call my cell phone several times a day during a 2 week period.  I don't answer my phone for numbers & area codes I don't recognize. Of course, they don't leave a msg. I do not now & never have known ANYONE in this area code which appears to be West VA.
