I recieve a call from this number every few months from this number and another 718 area code.  Its a person from another country saying he's calling for an attorney in Californias. He has threatened to have the police come to my job or my house to pick me up if i don't pay a bill for something i'm not responsible for. My bank supervisor and myself have tried to call the 718 number back with no luck. We looked up the "attorney's" name, again with no luck. I would like to know who this person is calling me.

I recieved a call from this same number and they told me that I will be in jail within 24hrs and that my mom and my sister would be too. He said that I recieved a payday loan deposit and never paid it back(which never happened the deposit or me not paying back) and that I am goin to be charged with theft by deception,  forgery, and something else. But heres the catch how can you pay back something you never borrowed. Whats scary is he has my social and my bank name and my address. I have an attorney and best believe he will be calling them on my behalf. I know it is not legit because when he called my sister he gave her one name and when I called the same man gave me another name. Oh and also I dropped the "F" bomb a few times and hung up. Then when I called back to get the name of the company to research it he said the "F" word to me. I know for a fact that businesses can not swear at you they can talk rudely but they are not allowed to swear at you. Any ideas who it is yet? The name of the company is unclear and heavily clouded by a thick middle eastern accent.

I recieve multiple calls from these people as well stating I defaulted on a payday loan. They continued to threaten me with jail time, fines, and a negative credit mark. I tried getting more information as he continued to threaten me more. I had called them back as well as my attorney who was yelled at before they hung up on him. I stated i contacted the general attorney with a consumer complaint with all there information where he stated " you will be sorry."  What an inconvience and a bunch of scam artist idiots.

These people are idiots.  All they do is threaten you with stupid remarks.  Have an authorative sounding voice call them back and threaten them.  My brother did it for me and said he was an investegator for the FBI.  They hung up on him!  It was great!
