Senior citizens are primary targets of these pests. Please, educate your senior kinfolk and friends to take a second to look at the caller ID. (Let us hope they have Caller ID.) If they see a name and/or number they do not recognize, they should not pick up the call. Thanks.

I have a Panasonic Land line and it allows me to BLOCK up to 30 unwanted phone calls. Otherwise, I don't know what you would do. I am on the DO NOT CALL list but there are so many of these scammers and they have thousands of numbers. Good luck

DNC list is ignored by criminal scammers. Get a call blocker from Amazon on line. SENTRY and CPR ar two possible blockers for a reasonable price.

I don't answer calls that I don't know but they did not leave a message.  If they are trying to Medicare as their come on I would guess Medicare has sold my number which they are not suppose to do but what more can we expect from our government.

I just got a call from this number. I didn't answer and they left no message. However, I don't have Medicare, so I don't think there's a connection.

Actually they probably use a computer to call.  Give a computer a block of numbers to call and it starts calling.  Basically fishing for the gullible fish.
