Calls frequently and hangs up trying to get it to stop

Phone rings 1 to 3 times then stops, or if I answer, all I get is a dial tone. We have a home based buisness and also are officers in local Club so need to respond to calls missed. Call does not go thru when I tried to call back. Have received 5 calls so far today 7/23/07.

Phone rings twice. If it is picked up, the line just hangs up. Six time today (7/24). Unfortunately this is a small business where over lunch only one person is here and has to shut down heavy machinery to answer the phone.

Phone rings twice, then stops. If I an Caller ID: Delaware
