I answered this call finally because I was so annoyed...the man on the phone said he was from "Discount Electric" and was calling to verify that I had received my electric bill discount.  I asked, "For what electric company are you calling for?" and he ignored that and asked if I was the main holder of the account. He said he wanted to verify my information to be sure that a discount had been applied to my account.  I said I was all set...the fact that he didn't identify himself as calling from my electric company immediately sent up red flags..."verify my information as the primary holder of the account"?  It's sad that someone might actually give out their information to these hacks.

Calls repeatedly, hangs up when answer phone.

This number calls repeatedly and when I pick up it's dead air.

Has to be a telemarketing calling device of some sort.  The caller ID read "ELEC", which I interpreted as an electric company sales pitch
