I live in Canada. What amazes me is that of course, now the the National no call list is being enforced here in Canada, we get no unsolicited calls from Canada. Except all the telemarketers have rerouted the calls through the USA. So we complained. So they say they stopped it; "Telemarketers from the US, and other countries, making calls to Canadian consumers must still follow the CRTC’s Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules, including the National DNCL Rules." I am sure folks are complaining to the CRTC, just nothing is being done about it. The volume of these calls in increasing weekly, and our number is unlisted, and we are guarded as to who gets it. What amazes me further, is that we never, ever, answer. We like the rest of the free world, has call display. If we don't recognize the number we ignore it. If it is family or friends they will email/Skype/message or email....so why do they do it? Who decides sitting by a phone, waiting for a computer to connect to a pissed off human being, who will surely verbally abuse them, is a good way to make a living. Keep calling...I will never answer.
