Someone called me and sound strange and asked for a not real name...I did not like how everything was...

HANGS UP ON PICK UP

Early this morning - 7:54 a.m. my phone rang.  My caller ID said "Discover Bank" and the number they called from is 302-323-5500. They would not leave a message, and they hung up at the 4th ring of my phone (probably because they didn't want my answering machine to pick up so they'd be charged for the phone call)

 Isn't it against the law for a commercial entity to phone so early?

Have no idea, they just hang up. Not going to even bother calling them back! A holes woke me UP and now I'm MAD as H@LL to find out it was STUPID DISCOVER CARD!!! I don't even have an account with them either!!!!

I answered the call from 302 323 5500.  It was Discover Card Fraud Dept alerting me that someone was trying to open an account in my name (I have alerts set at credit bureau).  They wanted to verify if it was me or not trying to open an account.  It was not me; I am glad I answered
