I got a call from this number today. They claim to be my Google Specialist.

I had many calls from them over the past few years. I believe they target people who have their own domain names.

They are not affiliated with Google and Google does not make sales calls.

When I answered the phone there was silence. I kept saying hello, but they were quiet. Then, after about 20 seconds they hung up on me. So I called them back to see what's up.  A recording answered, giving only an option to press 1 to be placed on their do not call list. I tried other numbers and commands like operator and representative, but I could not get through. Seems like a scam of sorts to first know mine's a valid number and second to know when I'm home.

Received the same call claiming to be Google Specialists.  I clicked through to talk to them.  When he asked my name, I said "You know my name.  You called me".  He said "I just want to verify that I'm talking to the right person".  I did not give my name but told him I would, if he could name my website that they claimed they'd get on page one.  Silence.  (QFLEA.com is already on page one for the right keywords.)
