Caller was telemarketer for an alarm company ....insisted I had equipment  from their company .. wanted to upgrade me ....I said I was on a do not call  gov list and please do not cal me back and remove me from their calling list.

302-129-7898 Called four times today. Said they are from Microsoft and that my computer has sent information that there is a virus infecting it. Since when does Microsoft make direct phone contact with a customer? Scammers--want to gain remote access to my computer!! Not at all!!! Definitely scammers. This is harassment!!!

302-129-7898  Another call. This makes 5 today!!! I wonder if Microsoft knows these scammers are doing this. Makes me wish I did not have Microsoft on my computer.

It has nothing to do with having Microsoft on your computer, or with Microsoft at all.   These are scammers calling random numbers.   I know some elderly people who received the call who don't even OWN a computer.

Claims to be from an alarm company and trying to sell and upgrade Tell them I didn't own the house, that usually stops them. Same with the computer scam, I just tell them I don't own a computer...
