I had an item for sale on kijiji. Terry Scoffield offered to pay more than listed price. Sent $500 extra dollars asking me to pay $500 to Money Gram for him based on his trust in me. Due to the fact he is a sailor and is on the sea that is the only way he could pay for item. Sounded off right from beginning. Then he sent message saying the money is sent and to check. The paypal account said we do not get the money until we send $500 to Money Gram. TOTAL SCAM for sure. I wrote back stating that and he hasn't replied when he seemed in such a hurry to buy this item for his daughter, Then I get two calls from 12392054843. DIdn't answer.

Just happend to me... exact same story! I almost fell for it... Now I feel kind of silly!

That is sad, I got the same call because we are selling Tires.  The person said was for his daughter and he was a sailor.  When he demanded that I send him $500 through western union to Nigeria, bells went off.  I called paypal and they told me, they do not deal with western uninon or any other company that sends money..
