Found this after googling for "working for aflac":
"There is no salary. You are on your own with no income from day 1. It is sink or swim. There is also a tendency for managers to terminate employees who are achieving a higher than 40% closing ratio and then take their accounts. This works well for both Aflac and the regional managers. Aflac is no longer required to pay commissions to these people, and future sales benefit those with a proven track record. Pay attention and note that Aflac is likely to have your contract terminated within 12 months as this prevents Aflac from having to pay you renewals. If an agent has clients who have not paid, Aflac will collect the unpaid premiums from the agent. This continues whether or not the agent is still with Aflac."
