Received a call from this number today, automated voicemail claimed I was incurring late fees for "education solutions" or something similar I forget exactly what they called themselves.  Sounded suspicious.. I tried calling back from work and no calls will go through.

I received a call from (301) 657-5490 but did not answer as I wasn't familiar with the number.  This turned out to not be a SCAM.  This was the billing company for my son's martial arts classes looking for a payment.

Called the phone company and they tried calling the number with no answer.  Prank/Scam?

No this is a payment company for martial arts classes. This is not a scam. They usually call you if your payment did not go through for some reason. My reason was I changed debit cards and forgot to notify them.

This is Educational Learning they fund martial arts classes. They called because my debit card had an incorrect expiration date.
