ID said 'not available' left no message.

"Out of Area" (but in the same area code as I am);  No message left

Trying to reach my wife about her prior contributions to an UNNAMED charity. Um, yeah.

I don't answer out of area calls that come in my area code just like I won't answer Unavailable calls either.  If the caller is unavailable so am I.

I suspect..but cannot be sure, that these folks are the ones who represent themselves as either firemen or police..and want a donation...last time they tried I looked up the location of the number and this one comes from the same neighborhood....took me a couple of donations to figure out something was fishy..when I asked where to send the check..I was told I needn't bother ..just tape it to my storm door..they were going to have someone in the neighborhood in the morning and he'd pick it up.....like I said , it took a while for me to suspect that was just not kosher...might they want to avoid a charge of mail fraud by avoiding using the US Mail?  A year or two ago I actually called the cops and reported this..they didn't seem to be interested..and I suppose it's true that they've got bigger fish to fry than these guys...
