The phone rang at 11:49 AM with the Caller ID showing:  "301-429-6400 Maryland".  This number appeared to be near me geographically so I picked up.  I hear a prerecorded voice say:  "Good Bye" and the line disconnects.  Now I have to wait and see if I get another telemarketing/scammer call from that number.

Got another call, eerily similar to this one...this time from 301-429-6402 "Maryland".  I answered with:  "If you are a telemarketer, you know where to go."  I got several seconds of total silence before I heard the line disconnect.
