Same things over and over. This is a WAR folks! The FTC and FCC, who are responsible for prosecuting these things have done NOTHING! And continue to do NOTHING! I have been reporting these robo-calls for YEARS and still get them on a daily basis as well.
For now, just KEEP CALLING the FTC reporting line at 877-382-4357 and make the report. Give them the number that was calling, then DEMAND they put in the report that consumers are passing around a petition to take direct action against the FTC and FCC for not properly responding to consumer complaints and taking proper action to STOP HARASSMENT BY ROBO CALL COMPANIES! It is the FTC and FCC's RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTY TO TAKE ACTION!
The FTC and FCC "claim" there is little they can do, however that is total BS! There are many very simple ways to find and prosecute these robo-call companies! I have offered to allow the FTC and FCC to place a trace on my number..they say "we don;t operate like that". I have told them they can setup shell credit card numbers to use to give this information to the robo-call companies, then when the robo-call companies process the "transaction", it immediately gives all the bank information, including the owner(s) of the account(s), all contact information, etc. and a PERFECT hard evidence trail to prosecute these scumbags! But the FTC and FCC still do NOTHING, even when simple solutions to stop these people/companies from operating are presented to them!
ALL of us need to take ACTION! And in these kinds of cases, hound the chit out of the FTC and FCC to DO THEIR JOBS!!!! The FTC and FCC have become a part of this still growing epidemic, because they still do NOTHING to stop this!
