A man claiming to be Robert Bruner tried to rent a home in wilmette il to me but he wanted 700 dollars up front before getting the keys and contract. I stupidly gave him 350 dollars and he didn't give me the money back. I western unions the money to a man named Jeffery bird. He either has a fake ID with this name or he has a friend named Jeffery bird.

after I saw a post on hotpads.com I replied and same thing...said owned a house in Elmhurst il and wanted a deposit before a contract was even seen,,,oh and the person he wanted me to send money order to was a Jeffery bird.

The person listed below used this phone number to list a home in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL on hotpads.com. After a review of the public record it was determined that no one by this name has ever owned the home. Further, the owner recently placed the home on the market:the false rental description was copied and pasted from the MLS listing and the pictures were also direct copies.

WHATEVER you do, DO NOT send this person money.  He is a total FRAUD and goes into MLS listings and claims other people's home as his for rent.  How do I know this?  Because he is "renting" MY home on Zillow.  If you find this unbelievable, I have been emailing him asking for information about MY home, and he has the nerve to ask me how many pets do I have, who will be moving in, how he can send me the keys to MY home as soon as I send him a deposit, etc.  He sends you another fake address in Dover, DE to send the money to his secretary, Crystal Ann Moore.  I did a google on the address and that address is also listed for sale!!!  Who the hell does this guy think he is.  He tells you not to contact the agent on the listing because he's had problems with them, and how he works for a construction company and doesn't trust the agent, and he recently relocated, etc.  Now here's the scary part.... he's using my daughter's name (backwards) as the owner of the house.  Now I am just about at my wits end thinking WHO does this kind of stuff.  I actually had a "renter" come to my house and I explained the situation to her and thankfully she was smart enough not to send this guy any money although she did send him her workplace information.  This guy is so STUPID he doesn't realize that I am the real owner and continues to correspond with me.  Now it's become a joke.  So please people, do a little research before you EVER send money to anyone, it's as simple as googling a phone number, etc.
