Received a call (at 7:26 P.M.) (allegedly) from this number.  Caller ID stated it was "johns eastern co."  There used to be 2 companies that were owned by someone whose first name was John (unfortunately, it was so long ago, I have forgotten his last name)  He named them "johns eastern company", and "johns western company"  One of them wrote estimates for a couple of obscure insurance companies.  He/they treated employees badly (SO badly) which probably was a large factor in the early demise of their business.  I wonder if he, or someone else, has "picked up the banner", so to speak, and is now in some nefarious enterprise.  (This is just a thought, intended solely to inform, not a "rant".  I was never involved with these businesses, just a close observer).  Anyhow, anything associated with these outfits does not, and did not pass the "smell test".  (Disclaimer - Since I don't answer calls (allegedly) from numbers and/or areas that I don't recognize, I have no way of knowing what those people wanted.  But, based on my past close observations, I wouldn't trust anything or anybody associated with johns eastern, johns western, johns southern, johns northern, etc. etc. ad infinitum, ad nauseaum.)  Hope you find this helpful.
