Got a call from this # today, 07/11/11. Person said his name is Kevin & he works for Public Service Commission in MD. He said back in 2001 they noted on peoples BGE bills that they could get the lower rate if these people had their permission. It did not make sense what he was saying to me. He kept saying "why don't you want to save money"? He said I would save 10% if I confirmed my information. I said "why don't you confirm my info. to me, I know my info., & besides you called me & you didn't even know my name"! This guy wanted me to give him my name, address, & BGE account #. The more I asked him for a # to call him back after I do research, he got an attitude & became pushy. I finally hung up. I called the # back & after being on hold w/ the automated system, I hung up. The automated system say they are the enrollment center for NexGen, working for public power. I don't know if I spelled NexGen correct. I called back, this time entering the extension Kevin gave me, & a lady named Tamara answered. I hung up. Maybe I will try again later.
