I received the same "exact message" today from a man also identifying himself as Kevin Mason also with an accent.

I received the same call from Kevin Mason as the above people and am reporting it as a scam, I am assuming. The number is (281)990-6005. Supposed to be from the U.S. Treasury.

Said if I did not return the call I would have to appear before a judge or grand jury as this is a federal criminal offense.

Same thing - caller said I was being contacted because of a "federal criminal court case" and would be pulled in front of a federal judge if I did not "cooperate". What is wrong with people like this?

There sure seems to be a big outbreak of federal criminality. I've been contacted 3 times in the past week with news that I'm facing federal criminal indictment and jail -- and I'm only 9 years old.
