I received an email from the address hcd@apollogrp.edu, the domain of which belongs to The Apollo Group, Inc., a company that owns the University of Phoenix. The email, from a company calling themselves "The University Degree Program" was offering degrees without taking classes. You would be judged based on your life's experience. Ridiculous!! Well, the email came with a phone number, 206-309-0336 (based out of Washington state), which I called to see what they were up to. Today (5 days later) I received a call from 281-914-4978, and an English accent speaking male told me I could get any degree I want from any college I want, as long as I have the necessary life experience. I went to college and have my degree. I worked hard for it. I don't appreciate these kind of fraudulent degree mills out there. Beware of who calls you. Don't fall for their tricks.
