I am getting email from sending with this phone number attached. The sender claims to be with the FBI, Washington DC, with this phone number from Texas. The sender has an email address, sounds strange for an FBI agent, rexjohnson.sergeant@gmail.com. These people need to be caught and put away, before other people fall for their scam.

You are right to be erie of that call. What FBI agent has a gmail account instead of a .gov one? Good catch!!
