I got a call today from an unknown number. They told me that I have call Federal Agent David Marshall at 281-677-5042.

I called that number and they told me there are 4 charges against me for IRS fraud and investment fraud. There is a warrant against me and I will be arrested. I can be in prison for 7 days before a hearing and penalty would be $53000. He had a lot of information about me.

He then told the line is monitored and I can settle this before its given the police from the state department. I need to pay $4K to close it - pay $2K now and then rest within 24hr.

I called my accountant and they told its a scam. I also called my local police department about it and they also confirmed that there are no charges against me.

I also got called from number 281-677-5042: -telling they are fed agent and I owe money in fed taxes.  If I dont pay they will send cops to my home and will arrest me.  
The names used are Agent Watson - Fed agent Michel etc -

I think this is threat tactic.  I don't own any money to fed goverment.  I called them and checked.

I received the phone call at my work for my boss...have received the phone calls before saying it was Officer Mike Anderson (with a hard Indian accent).  There was a legal case against my boss and that he should call the phone number.  I know these are all a scam.  Really?!?  People have nothing better to do but to try and rip off us trust-worthy Americans.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
