Came up as Porter, TX, but I found this: "Caller ID says Patrolmans foundation. Never leave a message. Fake police charity.
1)"Tax records for 2010-2-13 for Nation Patrolmen's Foundation's parent organization (Law Enforcement Officers Relief Fund) for 2010-2013 indicate that almost all of their income (about 85%) is spent on professional fundraising."
2)"The number listed on the invoice is 800-947-0915 and the website is www.leorf.org. I tried to find a presence for National Patrolmen's Foundation on the internet, but can't find anything except that they are based in Sarasota, FL, and have been in business for 1 1/2 years. But, everything else I can find just says they are a scam, so I won't be sending any money."

All of the above numbers have been attributed to the 'fake' National Patrolmen's Foundation.
And this my friends is why I never pick up when my caller ID only shows City and State. And of course they didn't leave a message.
