Earlier today, person named "David" stated calling from "the processing center" (already sounds fishy), and asked about my specific vehicle (probably using public DOT ownership data, trying to sign people up for extra unnecessary warranties).  I told him not interested in anything and ended the call.

Caller ID was Richmond, Tx. I blocked this number as I do all numbers whose caller id's don't actually tell you who is calling. Legit callers have ID's that tell you who they are. Haven't regretted, or been burned by, this system yet.

I don't know who this was. They asked for someone. I asked who it was. She gave name and company. I told her she had wrong number. She asked rudely, "then why did you ask my name?" She then hung up on me.
