not sure though, because i didn't answer.

Caller was solicitating funds to reimburse the DPS fallen officers account. Asked for $50 to $100. donation. I felt pressured to say I would give, and then was told that I better return the donation as soon as the envelope was received at my home.

Caller ID said call from Hwy Patrol, but because of phone scams going on, decided to wait for message to see if real.  Since they hung up without leaving message, figured call was bogus.  Thanks to this website, seems my instinct was right.
