A man with a heavy middle eastern accent called my cell phone stating that he was from the United States Government.  When I asked what agency of the government, he just repeated, the United States Government.  I then allowed him to get on with his call.  He informed me that "the government" has selected me and 5000 others to win a $2000 grant, a free trip to any state, free gas voucher, and free plane tickets.  After this I confronted him again about what organization he was from.  The next answer was the United Federal Bank.  Upon hearing this I immediately did an internet search for this business.  The results led me to various other scams.  When I confronted him again, I was informed that he was not a telemarketer or trying to sell me something.  In order for me to receive the "rewards" via USPS, he needs my address information.  I finally told him that he needs to work on his scams in order to convince me.
