**SUSPICIOUS** A person claiming to be "Vincent Delgado" left a message stating "This is a final document solely intended for ** . . . " He was leaving a message for a distant relative that I haven't seen in years who doesn't live in our state. He stated he has called numerous times (incorrect) and gave the last 4 numbers of their tax ID number. I can't verify a distant relative's tax number so these numbers could be any random number.  He stated he was filing the documents with Snohomish County (which is in Washington State) but his telephone number is from Texas. When searching on this phone number, there is no legal office or representative connected with this number nor a man named "Vincent Delgado."  My guess is that this is a high-level scam. VERY SUSPICIOUS!

I couldn't resist calling this number back (yeah . . . I know I shouldn't) I wanted to see if Vincent Delgado was going to ask me for money for this distant relative to stop the filing process.  The number goes through but it is a typical answering machine -- not a business -- not someone in a legal office -- just a typical answering machine . . . "The person you are calling is not available. Please leave your message after the tone."  So it's not such a high-level scam as I thought -- it's just a typical low-level scam. It reminds me of the scam asking for money to help a relative out of jail.
