They are calling businesses claiming they have leads to give you. When they get a hold of the owner or person in charge of marketing, they are selling print advertising. In our case they claimed they were Century 21, then they were City Trends realty. They are not. Mary left a call back number of  281-616-9198 and said that they would put our flyer in a folder that they give to each customer that does not qualify for the mortgage.
= they are not real estate agents, they were dishonest
= when the customer does not qualify for a mortgage its the mortgage broker that gives them the news, not the real estate agent. So the agent would have no reason to give out this folder
= based on this, they must be a scam or have horrible selling practices
