Ask for a certain person calls several times a day. always let machine pick up, finally decided to answer it and it was something to do with the state police asking  for money

i just got mine

This number called at 5:20pm-I answered, they ask for my husband by his first name.  When I gave him the phone, they'd hung up.  I called the number (Guthrie, Ky) and got a recording saying they were a non-profit organization and their operating hours were between 8 and 5..  They wanted a phone number in order to hear more about it, I put in a bogus number and it didn't allow me to hear any message, it went back to asking the phone number.  They gave an option to leave a message, when I pushed 3, it went back to asking for the phone number again.  I hate it that these calls come through, but I figure somebody's falling for it or they wouldn't continue to try to scam.

Dude above is right. This is a scam or possibly skip tracer trying to match up valid phone numbers. Most likely a straight up scam OR Portfolio Recovery Associates

This '270' area code is unusual but I just blocked another '270' number last month, so this is probably another number used by the same scammers that called me last month: ('270-200-1355')...
