I actually talked to the person who called me.  She said I would be taken off the list but when I pressed further she admitted that I would likely be put on their "other lists."  I blocked the number.

got 3 calls sun 9/16 aprox. noon[woman said it was a survey group & I said no to the survey, then again @ 6;16 pm & 8:40 pm.which I answered & they just hung up. just now 9/17 @ 5 pm another hangup. I found "Venture data call research" @ several different web sites & the one in georgia has a # u can leave a vm. & an email which I did. the calls are coming from "VENTURE DATA CALL RESEARCH" & U CAN GO TO THEIR WEBSITE TO RESPOND"comments@venturedatacall.com"

Got two calls today from this number , Sunday, October 14, 2012.  I did not answer and both left no message so I presume it was a political call.
