The person calling everyone from this number is a recruiter with Primerica. She is intent on "interviewing" people to drink the multilevel marketing koolaid.

Received a SUPER suspicious email today:

Hi, my name is Stacey McKague.  I am a manager here in Southwest Michigan.
Currently, I am looking for a few people to work with me on either a part time
or full time basis.  At this point, I don't know if you'd qualify for a
position with us or if you are still looking, but if you are open to talk
please
respond to me via telephone.  My phone number is 269-207-6671 and my voice mail
is 877-735-2607.  I will only be responding to those who call me.  If I'm
unavailable, feel free to leave me a message and I will call you back as soon
as
possible.

Thanks again and I look forward to talking with you,
Stacey McKague

No company name, no real information- must be a scam! I am really getting tired of all of these job scams running around. It's getting old.

And for the record- I am even employed already!

This is Stacey.  Like I had said in the message, I didn't know if you were looking or not.  If it was a scam, I don't think I would have put my direct phone number in the message. But, a simple phone call could have answered any questions or concerns that you had. I apologize for any miscommunication.  But posting this probably wasn't necessary....

Stacey,
If you are actually offering a job, it is usually suspect that you don't list a company name or even what the job pertains to. The fact that you used your personal email was even suspicious.

People need to be aware if there are job scams out there, and it appears that you are currently running one.

I received this message today on my cell phone.  I immediatley looked up the number because I thought it was weird there was no company name, and no job description.  It's awful that so many people are unemployed and people are actually doing this.

I recieved a message also.  Stacey called my home phone which is not published anywhere with my name.  This "smells" like a Primerica "don't tell them anything on the phone" type prospecting.  They never seem to learn how to propect/recruit the "up front" way.  Is Primerica's reputation that bad??
