girl called when answered said sorry wrong number  we live in Michigan

Yes i received a phone call on 4/13/12 from 256-000-0000 a woman stated wrong phone number then hung up i too believe its a prelude to a scam. Who ever it is it seems obvious there searching for working phone numbers at this time.

I got the same call as many others of a woman saying "sorry, wrong number" and then hanging up.  My number is from Lansing, MI.

two things are being done, your hello is being put into a biometric data base so when you go places in a year or so and pay with your cell phone or new credit card or new drivers license, your voice will be one of the things that will leave your butt hanging out in public. like the little black ball cameras you see every where taking your picture. Telemarketers will have a field day...your cell phone will not be a wall keeping out the trash anymore..don't answer calls will 000 anything. if you are called twice, hook up the fax machine set at pick up on the (greater than 4) ring...

Interesting.  I got a call from this number, but was too busy to answer it.  When I called the number back (out of curiosity), I got a pre-recorded message stating the number was restricted...error code MI 83165.  Sounds like a phishing expedition to create a list of REAL working phone numbers.

If you see this number on your phone, do not bother to answer it.
