Got one of these yesterday and my caller ID said, "Check Balance 256-000-0000".  This is the second one I've gotten in two months and quite honestly wonder what it's about.  I live in SE Michigan.

Called me this past weekend at supper time, left no message.  Based on poster “Blur‘s” 5-14-2011 initial finding at (http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-256-000-0000/6). look at Blur’s link of http://www.manta.com/c/mvrhrzy/kubach-and-associates-llc/, and which shows the #256-000-0000 and the owner’s name.

I have assembled this information and if I am called again, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Feds and cc’ing my US Congressman and Senators.
