Person called and told me that the Gov't. was giving me $7,500 for xyz reasons... They had my full name, address and cel number.  If I wanted the money I had to give them an account number or a credit card number... obviously I refused to give any such information, so the caller ask me to call this number for verification and to get a money gram sent... I do not plan to call.  Btw, the person that called spoke with a heavy foreign accent.

A woman called me today claiming to be with the United Ststes Treasury. She said the U.S. Government was giving me $7800. Got my account number and then informed me I had to pay $265.00 transaction fee. That was a red flag. So, I withdrew my money from the ATM and called the bank and put a hold on the account. I spoke to a lady with claiming to be linet lee with a foreign accent.

They called saying I would receive $7800 if I sent them $250 by money gram for being a loyal citizen

The same thing happened to me and it makes me feel real bad because I thought they were being serious , you can't trust strangers no more and what scares me is that they have.my address , name and phone number I wasn't dumb enough to give them my account number.

Call from lady said to be from us Treasury with 7800.00 lolalty money. I just had to send 250.00. Then they would send it back. Told her I would go over this cause I recorded everything n call her back.  SCAM.
