Two fragments on this:

Caller Id showed "Connections Unlimited" and a Tacoma WA region phone area code.  253-472-2612

There is a "Connections Unlimited" that sells hearing aides and related.

A recent resume ( 2008 ) also lists this phone number as military support group phone number at Fort Lewis.  20th Support Center (CMMC), Ft. Lewis, WA

This was however a very old work history listing - so the telephone number may not have been current in 2008.  The reference from the 2008 resume follows:

"May 1987 to August 1990. 40 Hours per week. Supply Systems Analyst, 20th Support Center (CMMC), Ft. Lewis, WA 98433, CW2 Alfredo Vxxxxxxx, 253-472-2612. Managed the Automation Input/Output Data section for the 20th Materiel Management Center. Supervised logistics data flow for 23 Supply Support Facilities valued at $1.2 billion of supply Materiel requests. Provided Automation Dial-up Calling Cards Support for 420 network Customers, and 154 sub-hand receipt holders worth over $350 thousand of automation Equipment."

Just an addition to my post above.

The hearing aide company named "Connections Unlimited" was in the Tacoma, WA area but did not show that phone number as one of it's numbers - of course it might, or might not, be doing cold sales calls with an Unlisted number.

Actually, the hearing aide company maybe headquartered on the East Coast - may not be such a likely candidate.

This information suggests, maybe, or maybe not,  a satalite TV subscription telemarketer named "Connections Unlimited"

in Tacoma WA
