A Washington state phone number for a debt collector in South Carolina??

If they are spoofing local numbers, the debt collector is not legitimate

They call and call never leave a message I finally picked up one day it is a dept collector but I do not owe anyone or anything my name is very common the woman was very rude, I have a business degree and I told her you are not dealing with someone who doesn't know their rights just because I lived at this address that is on the bill ( mind you over 6 years ago) she tried to tell me that it was mine and I needed to pay so I gave her my attorney's # call him how about I call him for you? She hung up on me hhmmm...wounder why??? Not good business practices
