Guy asked me how old I was but wouldn't tell me what company he was with. Reported to FTC.

Calls saying they are the IRS. Definitely a scam

Didn't answer. A recording comes out that this is the IRS calling and they are filing a lawsuit. Didn't mention who the lawsuit was for.

No they aren't. The IRS does not bring lawsuits against people nor do they call. They will communicate with you via USPS mail only, unless, of course you call them. They will always followup your call with a letter via USPS mail.
