Thanks to my vigilant fiancée he encouraged me to investigate if this dude was a scammer and sure enough he was! Mr. Fred Williams you are not going to fool me and I hope this note will stop others from getting scammed too.

This is what he tried to say in the text...

i hope the ad is real cos i will be Wanting you to help me with the postage to my Cousin in Montreal Quebec as a gift since am not available for the pick up,and am gonna be offering you 1,400$ for everything including the shipment fee to it's destination thanks.?

The man then went and created an email under the guise of PayPal

This  PayPal®  payment  has  been  deducted  from  the  buyer's  account  and  has  been  "APPROVED"   but  will  not  be  credited  to  your  account  until  the  shipment  reference  /  tracking  number  is  sent  to  us  for  verification  so  as  to  secure  both   the   buyer  and  the  seller.Below  are  the  necessary  information  requested
before  your  account  will  be  credited.  Send  the  tracking  number  of  the   package  to  our  customer-care  at shipment_verificationcode.dept@post.com
and  our  Customer  security  service  center  will  attend  to  your  tracking   number.

As  soon  as  you  send  us  the  shipment's  tracking  number  to  us  for  security  purposes  and  the  safety  of  the  buyer  and  the  seller,the  money  will  be    credited  to  your  account.

He sent two emails from PayPal. One with some other name Ashley Walton

Fraud alert. These are scammers posing as PayPal. One will text and then you get the email saying to confirm to a particular link. THEY ARE NOT PAYPAL even they will say they will report you to solicitor and Interpol.  ITS A SCAM even if they swear up and down they are not. Luckily I lost a minimal amount as they continue with their scam to try and get more then negotiating a small amount. Not a chance in hell and I use other colourful words stating my discuss with their existence luckily I quickly got touch with Canada post to have my dress return and not delivered to a Quebec address. Again they use email saying the are PayPal and PayPal does not communicate via email. Only through their site. Once bitten, twice shy!

This just happened to me! I was about to ship my dress and something wasn't quite right! Sent it to PayPal and it's a scam! Fred Williams!!

SCAMMERS posing as PayPal. Will take your money by saying that overpayment has to be returned and buddy will say to send to his uncle or other family members.  THE ARE NOT PAYPAL.  SCAMMERS and FRAUDSTERS
