I got a call from this nunber last night. As I could t take the call they have left the robot msg saying that if I don't return the call through my attorney consequences will be severe.. They have not even mentioned about what reason are they calling on!!

These people called saying they were the IRS and taxes were not filled for 2 years and the cops were coming in 30 minutes. LOL Please people do not fall for this con. If you have not been contacted by mail to resolve this issue well before this call the IRS is not coming to take you to jail. They are in the business of getting their money and will do everything to do that before sending you to jail.

oh and plus the area code is Seattle Washington. and their headquarters is in Washington D.C. and most likely there is an IRS office no more then 50 miles from you right now

The calls originate in India and Pakistan.  They don't know the difference between Washington State and Washington DC, so they will often put down area codes for Washington State.  Basically they are trying to convince people that they are from the government in Washington DC.   Total nonsense.

I keep getting these calls so i blocked it then blocked my number and kept calling the guy back and harassing him. Damn curry eating clowns
