I just got a message saying this was a final notice from the IRS and that I was being sued.  Asked me to call back for more information.  Of course its a scam, but fyi anyway.

Same.  Voicemail claims the US Internal Revenue Service is suing us.  I'm sure they were going to ask for all pertinent information on us to find the lawsuit - like SS#, mother's maiden name etc.  Definitely a scam.

They can't be sued.  They can't be prosecuted.  They are pretty much bullet-proof at the prsent time.  They're   hard core Indian or Pakistani scammer/extortionists and as such beyond the reach of US law.  Local governments do little or nothing to shut down the  call centers.  A lot of these scammers work out of thier own homes.  Invest in a call block and do not pick up on numbers you do not recognize.
