Got s call this morning from this number. They left automated message saying about a case file. Is this a scam number?

They cld, I missed call and cld bk, they answered "IRS" , ask for my name but couldnt seem to find who cld.  Then noticed original call had left a voice message, which simply asked me to call that same number back.  Bit confusing but pretty sure this is not really IRS.

It is an overseas scam trying to pass themselves off as the IRS.

I missed the call this morning and called back. Somebody with a strong accent claiming to be the IRS wanted me to pay $4938 due for the years 2009-2014. I assume this is a scam.

Same thing for me....just got this call with this same number (253-245-1974).  It felt like a scam because they said "IRS is filing lawsuit against you..."  not even proper English.
