Received an illegal call from a "Joseph Strauss" saying that they were calling about non-sufficient funds   They mentioned federal and state laws and threatened legal action.  The call back number was given as 877-572-7572.  This is a scam to get personal information.

I received 7 (count em folks SEVEN) calls from this # yesterday.  I was actually in a hospital and unable to answer my phone.  All 7 times they left a computer voice message telling my voice mail that if it wasn't me to hang up now.  No call back # was ever given.  More than likely because my voice mail time ran out while they waited for nothing.  

I attempted to call this # back this morning and I received a dead line.  Zip, Zilch, Nada.  The phone rang two times...then NOTHING.

its a scam trying to get your personal info. give them nothing or do not answer. they called at least 5 times a day, now I turn off the machine if I'm home and just let it ring.

Got a call from this number for my mom...held on the line about 5 minutes and line went dead, attempted to call back and line rang and rang, no answer so went on line to see if anyone else has had this trouble...thanks for the tips to all that have blogged...we'll ignore their calls! :D

I was taking a bath got out without glasses & answered the call was for MARY? To call a toll free no which I didn't write down. 239-5539 no prefix was =unknown? I presume it was 253=not sure? Collection.
