Scam call from "National Institute of Health Department". Person named Glen Rogers said that I was chosen by the U.S. Government, because of my credit rating, to receive a free U.S. Government Grant in the amount of $14,566 tax free. I can receive the money in one of three ways: (1) bank account deposit, (2) active credit card deposit, (3) go to Western Union and get a prepaid credit card to receive a deposit. You of course have to give them all the info associated with the method you use to receive the money. Gave me I.D. Grant No., call back number (253-237-9004), and mailing address to sound legitimate (9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20892). I told him "If you are legitimate, then send me a U.S. Treasury cashier's check." He said he would within 15 days and the call ended. Got onother call 5 minutes later from the same scam group with the same announcement, but different caller's name. Told him I just talked to Glen Rogers and that I will be receiving a cashier's check witin 15 days. He was surprised, there was a pause on the phone, and the call disconnected. This was so hilarious. I was able to waste around 15 - 20 minutes of this scam organization's time.
